Oh i bet your feeling the presure to use RSS 2.0 so the other syndication format evangelists won’t make fun of you.
Here is an easy way to to do it using php and mysql as this is what i use for my site (www.vlowe.co.uk).
Here is a simple way to page your API results in PHP, this example will use code from my YouTube Plugin but can be used on anything really including Flickr etc.
Hope that works for you, it does for me 
The idea is to now use this site to post and code developments and keep my main sites tidy.
